AmeriCorps and Vista members work to support organizations to make sustainable change in areas that effect poverty, including education, public health, climate, access to benefits, and more. Through activities such as fundraising, grant writing, research, and volunteer recruitment, you will gain professional experience and leadership skills. This opportunity prepares you for a life of service in the public, private, or nonprofit sector. Part-time AmeriCorp positions are available with 10-20 hours of work per week which includes a regular stipend (up to $4500) as well as additional educational funding up to $1800 after your service is complete.
