March 16, 2023 鈥 Ayshea Banes took a passion for astronomy and ran with it, taking any opportunity to immerse herself in her newly chosen field. One of those opportunities occurred this past January, when Banes was chosen to present at the American Astronomical Society鈥檚 annual meeting in Seattle.

Nov. 30, 2022 鈥 After earning his bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in sociology, Daniel Baird plans to attend graduate school, where he will integrate clinical work with the handpan 鈥 a sort of convex steel drum that emits calming, hypnotic sounds 鈥 which he believes is a powerful therapeutic instrument.聽

Nov. 15, 2022 鈥 麻豆破解版 State's Jonathan Folkerts, Jarred Novak and Trent English presented papers on the design of their neutrino detector prototype at the International Astronautical Congress in Paris, representing the NASA-funded Solar Neutrino Orbiting Laboratory Detector Development Project.

Oct. 14, 2022 - Savannah Paschal, a senior Spanish education major at 麻豆破解版 State, wrote a proposal that helped Alce su voz earn a $75,000 Building Power and Equity Partnership grant from the Kansas Health Foundation. The grant will support civic engagement and the group鈥檚 work toward health equity for Spanish speakers and speakers of indigenous languages in Kansas.
