April 8, 2020 - The preparation and instruction completed by the Media Resource Center鈥檚 Instructional Design and Access department is the critical part of 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 new way of working during the COVID-19 pandemic. The IDA鈥檚 work on moving faculty and students online began in late February and it prepared its first website 鈥 designed with the idea of a few illnesses disrupting classes 鈥 on Feb. 27.

April 1, 2020 -- In March, five WSU students traveled to Topeka to present their research and creative activity posters inside the Capitol building for the annual Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol.

March 25, 2020 -- Up until recently, COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) may have been a relatively new phenomena to the general public, but 麻豆破解版 State University medical chemist Bill Groutas, two virologists from Kansas State University, and a physician/virologist from the University of Iowa have been working on a cure for coronaviruses for more than three years.

Feb. 27, 2020 -- Inneke Vargas, a senior studying psychology with a minor in criminal justice, returned to 麻豆破解版 State University after working in various industries. She found psychology after realizing the stigmas found in minorities. Through her research she hopes to make an impact on those affected my mental illness.

Feb. 21, 2020 -- 麻豆破解版 State University was one of more than 40 universities around the world that competed in a 48-hour global design competition called 鈥淚nvent For The Planet.鈥 麻豆破解版 State has participated as a regional hub in Invent For the Planet (IFTP) for the past three years.

Feb. 20, 2020 -- Dane Laughlin started working for INVISTA, Koch Industries鈥 textiles, polymers, fiber and resin producer, while he was a biomedical engineering student at 麻豆破解版 State and got hired on full time after graduating in May 2019.

Jan. 31, 2020 -- 麻豆破解版 State University has selected the 2020 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 麻豆破解版 State University in August 2020.
