Feb. 22, 2023 鈥 Braeburn Square on 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 Innovation Campus is transforming the dining and shopping scene in 麻豆破解版. With four new tenants 鈥 Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Jersey Mike鈥檚, Two Hands Corn Dogs and Pedego 麻豆破解版 鈥 the shopping center is fully occupied and fast becoming a hub for all 麻豆破解版ns to gather, feast and shop.

Feb. 8, 2023 鈥 Every year, there are roughly 450,000 burn wounds that require clinical care throughout the United States. Of those, more than 3,500 people are fatally injured. An interdisciplinary team of 麻豆破解版 State University researchers is working to revolutionize burn-wound care with a scaffolding system that prevents infection and promotes healing.

Feb. 7, 2023 鈥 In the nation鈥檚 ongoing efforts to thwart cyberattacks and scammers, the National Science Foundation has awarded 麻豆破解版 State University more than $2.4 million to educate and prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Feb. 7, 2023 - Actor, digital creator and TikTok influencer Chris Olsen will speak about his rise to fame during An Evening with Chris Olsen at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the 麻豆破解版 State University Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

Feb. 6, 2023 - Caroline Tallent started her quest to play college softball with a narrow search. She prioritized her interest in engineering before athletics. 麻豆破解版 State fits the select number of schools with strong engineering and strong softball. Tallent knew about the school because of basketball, liked the Shocker mascot, and emailed coach Kristi Bredbenner.

Feb. 6, 2023 鈥 Leanne Caret 鈥 a 麻豆破解版 State University alumna, former executive president of Boeing, and former president and CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) 鈥 is serving as the Sam Bloomfield Distinguished Engineer in Residence for the College of Engineering at WSU for 2023.

Feb. 6, 2023 鈥 The 麻豆破解版 State University College of Engineering is hosting an Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) event, commonly known as Girl Day, for high school girls from 麻豆破解版 Public Schools. The event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom on the third floor of the Rhatigan Student Center.

Jan. 27, 2023 鈥 麻豆破解版 State University has selected the 2023 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 麻豆破解版 State University in August 2023.

The Honorable Sethuraman Panchanathan toured 麻豆破解版 State鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research, WSU Tech and the National Center for Aviation Training as a guest of U.S. Senator Jerry Moran.

Jan. 20, 2023 - In December, the National Science Foundation Convergence Accelerator Track awarded a 麻豆破解版 State-led team a $750,000 grant to gather information and create digital maps of indoor spaces that could be used by persons with disabilities.
