Welcome to Shocker Central!

麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 new student-facing jobs platform is now LIVE! 

Here鈥檚 how to get started:

User Profile and Employer Creation

  • Create your profile
  • Complete the form and follow the instructions.
  • When you get to the employer section, type in your organization鈥檚 name.
    • If it鈥檚 already been created, it will auto populate. (Ex: Company ABC).
    • If your organization doesn鈥檛 populate, follow the steps to create a new profile.
  • Complete the profile to include phone number, address, etc.

Encourage Others

  • Share this webpage, including this Shocker Central hyperlink, , with other relevant staff in your department responsible for hiring and/or posting jobs, and have them do the same

CAREER CONNECTION ROOT BEER KEGGER
Date: Wednesday, August 28, 2024
Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: East Hubbard Hall Lawn

Join us for the Career Connection Root Beer Kegger, an outdoor event held under tents on the East Hubbard Hall Lawn. Students enjoy hot dogs and root beer while learning about the WSU Shocker Career Accelerator. This event provides employers with the opportunity to connect with over 1,000 WSU students from various majors, sharing information about their organizations and available employment opportunities.

Cost: $500

FINE ARTS CAREER MIXER
Date: Thursday, September 19, 2024
Time: 10:30 a.m. 鈥� 12 p.m.
Location: McKnight Hall

Engage with fine arts majors in a relaxed, interactive environment. This event is an excellent opportunity to mentor and network with the next generation of artists, share your expertise, and discuss any available internships or positions. Refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to mingle and engage in group conversations. This is an ideal way to enhance your business's brand awareness and connect with the vibrant artist community in 麻豆破解版. Approximately 120 students are expected to attend.

ENGINEERING & I.T. CAREER FAIR
Date: Thursday, October 10, 2024
Time: 2 鈥� 5 p.m. 
Location: RSC Third Floor 

Connect with top Engineering and I.T. students from WSU at the Engineering & I.T. Career Fair. This event offers a prime opportunity to meet and recruit highly skilled students for internships, co-op positions, and full- time roles. Engage with 500-600 students ready to contribute to your company鈥檚 success.

Cost: $500

FAIRMOUNT COLLEGE CAREER FAIR
Date: Thursday, February 6, 2025
Time: 10:30 鈥� 12:30 p.m. 
Location: RSC First Floor

Join the Shocker Career Accelerator for the Fairmount College Career Fair. You can meet and chat with employers interested in hiring co-op students and part-time/full-time employees.

Cost: $50

Student teacher interviews with employer at Education Interview Day.

EDUCATION INTERVIEW DAY
Date: Thursday, March 6, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. 鈥� 3 p.m. 
Location: Hughes Metropolitan Complex
(5015 E 29th St. N, 麻豆破解版, KS)

This event gives students an opportunity to interview with representatives from various school districts for positions they have or may have available for the next school year.

Cost: $50

Employer talks to a student at the Health Professions Career Fair.

HEALTH PROFESSIONS CAREER FAIR

Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025
Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: RSC Third Floor

Join the Shocker Career Accelerator at the Health Professions Career Fair and accelerate your career! Meet with employers from the 麻豆破解版 area and beyond to discover exciting job opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Cost: $400
