Graduate Assistantships
Graduate assistantships provide valuable experience to those seeking a profession in student affairs and higher education. Assistantships lower educational costs, provide students essential work experience, and allow students to pursue their program on a full-time basis.
Applications for graduate assistantships are separate from admission to the graduate school. Prospective students' applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Earlier submission enhances an applicant's opportunities to obtain a graduate assistantship position.
Many assistantships provide tuition, a stipend and discount to the university bookstore. Those compensation packages will vary from position-to-position, please review carefully.
