It is never your fault to have experienced a sexual assault and you are not alone in your recovery. There are several campus and local resources that you can approach to seek medical support, psychological support, guidance to resources, crisis hotlines, safety planning, and life skills and planning. You can also choose to report the assault to the university or the police. If you are concerned about your safety, you can obtain restraining order (protection from abuse/stalking orders). Remember, we believe in you and you are not alone.

Student Health Services is your on-campus health care service. They offer confidential medical support and advocacy work. They will assess your needs and what you want before providing necessary treatment that includes first aid treatment, emergency contraception, and STI testing and treatment. They can also conduct the follow up testing after the initial SANE/SART services at either Via-Christi St. Joseph鈥檚 Hospital or Wesley Medical Center.

Your safety is an utmost concern. You can obtain restraining order (protection from abuse/stalking orders) to protect yourself.
