麻豆破解版 State University is committed to maintaining a safe and secure campus community, which encourages the development of lifelong relationships, and a supportive atmosphere in which all can develop and grow.

The campus community to which we aspire is a shared responsibility of students, faculty and staff including University Police. No community can be totally crime-free in today's society, and unfortunately, criminal activity does not magically cease at the edge of campus.

Along with crimes against property and people, abuse of drugs and alcohol always adversely affects the University community and its citizens. Members of the University community are vulnerable to the same crime problems encountered by residents of any major metropolitan area. It is the goal and commitment of the University Police Department to provide everyone a safe and enjoyable experience during their stay on campus.

The University Police Department is staffed by Kansas certified police officers, and operate as defined by and WSU Policy and Procedure Manual, Jurisdictional Authority of University Police Department. Operations run twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Further information about University Police and campus security policies as well as crime statistics may be found in the Annual Security and Fire Report.
