Kurzweil 3000 is an assistive technology and learning literacy tool recommended for students who have difficulties reading (ESL, dyslexia, etc.).   It is designed to help students learn course materials in school. With functions such as text-to-speech, highlighting and integrated notetaking and brainstorming, this assistive technology enables students with learning difficulties to fully engage in what they are learning and to focus on the tasks at hand.

Capture what's important with an Echo 2 smartpen. Record everything you hear, say, and write, while adding your audio recordings to your notes. Quickly replay audio from your Echo 2 smartpen or mobile device with a simple tap on your handwritten notes. It's never been easier to take notes and stay organized.  The Echo 2 Smart Pens are checked out to students registered with OSAT that have a disability that would warrant the need for the smart pen. 


Glean is a note taking app that helps students capture, organize, refine, and apply class content. It supports independent learning online, offline, and on any device. Currently, currently only students that are Deaf or Hard of Hearing  or severe dexterity issues are provide the accommodation of Glean. 


The C-pen Exam Reader 2 is a portable device that reads printed text aloud in multiple languages, without internet or smartphone connection. It is designed for use in tests and exams by students with reading difficulties. The C-Pen Exam Reader is checked out to students registered with OSAT that have a disability that would warrant the need for the C-pen. The C-Pen Exam Reader is only checked out to student during their test.  


Personal FM systems reduce background noise, improve clarity, and reduce listening fatigue.  The personal FM systems are checked out to students registered with OSAT that have a disability that would warrant the need for FM systems while in class.
