Overview

Imran Musaji, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at 麻豆破解版 State University. Dr. Musaji is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has provided services in a variety of clinical settings. 

His current research focuses on assessing impaired computer-mediated language (e.g., texting, Zooming) after neurological insult.

Academic Interests and Expertise

Dr. Musaji completed his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science) in Anthropology and Science and Technology Studies at Michigan State University in 2004. He also studied Archaeology and Sociology at the University College Dublin. He completed a Master of Science degree in Human Biology at the University of Indianapolis in 2011, and a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at 麻豆破解版 State University in 2014. In 2020 Dr. Musaji completed his PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders at 麻豆破解版 State University.

Areas of Research Interest

Dr. Musaji's current research is focused on developing an assessment tool for language impairment specific to computer-mediated modalities (such as texting).

Areas of Teaching Interest

Dr. Musaji currently teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of Motor-Speech Disorders, Genetic and Organic Syndromes and Disorders, and Phonetics.
