Proposal Items to consider

Customer problem: What problem or market need will the technology address? What point of pain does the technology solve?

Product or service: Describe how your innovation addresses the problem or need. Do not include any confidential or proprietary information in the application

Competitive advantage: What makes your solution unique and appealing over others?

Proposed scope of work: Clearly and concisely state your objective(s) and the importance of the proposed venture, and briefly explain the methods that will be used to complete the work.

Budget: Include a budget not to exceed $1,000 and describe how the requested award will be spent. Detail various expenses for which funds are being requested, and explain why each expense is necessary for the completion of the project.

Innovation Fund Award

麻豆破解版 State University students, faculty and staff are invited to apply for grants of up to $1,000 from the Innovation Fund to support high-potential technologies showing promise of commercialization. The fund was established in 2015 with contributions to the 麻豆破解版 State University Foundation in order to foster and accelerate innovation at 麻豆破解版 State.

Qualifying expenses include those related to feasibility studies, planning, market intelligence, technical assistance, laboratory fees, technology or process development, and training software/information technology. Funding must be spent within six months of the award.

Applications are subject to a competitive review, evaluation, approval and availability of funds. Before you begin, please review the award requirements and the qualifying expenses.

Requests for funds are accepted on a continuous basis, with quarterly awards in March, June, September and December.
