Mission

麻豆破解版 State Esports strives to become a pillar of collegiate esports, cultivating student growth through competitive and dynamic applied learning opportunities, and pushing the boundaries of collegiate esports.

Our program seeks to accomplish this mission through adherence to four key pillars, designed in-part to allign with the institution's strategic plan:

  1. Competition: Provide a comprehensive gaming experience that positions our students and institution at the forefront of premier intercollegiate competition.
  2. Holistic Student Development: Investing in and developing our student member across areas including: personal development, professional development, mental health, and physical wellness.
  3. Applied Learning: Creating opportunities for students to gainreal-world experiences and connections that will further their career success.
  4. Community Engagement: Engage both the campus community and wider metropolitan area through dynamic partnerships with endemic and non-endemic entities.

What is the difference between the Shocker Gaming Club and Shocker Esports?

The Shocker Gaming Club provides a home for all students interested in gaming and also provides opportunities for students to compete. 麻豆破解版 State Esports is a varsity program, similar to an athletics department. As such, students must go through an application and tryout process.

Student-athlete's practice and competition schedules vary by team, but generally include 9-12 hours of structure practice and official matches per week.
