Clinic Rotation System
Graduate students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders MA program (speech-language pathology) at 麻豆破解版 State University are assigned by faculty to teams which consist of of approximately ten students from a cohort.
Team assignments are given at Graduate Student Orientation. Students remain on their assigned team for the entire duration of their graduate experience. They are given cilnical assignments based on this rotation system in order to allow a well-rounded clinical expeirence. As a result, students typically work with a large variety of supervisors and diagnoses while in the university clinic.
First priority for scheduling clients is always given to the student鈥檚 assigned rotation, however aditional opportunities are available for students outside of their assigned rotation. In addition, some programs (i.e. Fluency Camp, Literacy Camp) are only offered during the summer semester and are assigned based upon an application process.
