Nursing Scholarships and Fellowships at 麻豆破解版 State University (WSU)

The School of Nursing offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships for students admitted to or enrolled in a nursing program within the College of Health Professions (CHP) at WSU.

Eligibility

  • Departmental Nursing Scholarships: Applicants must be admitted to the professional phase of the nursing program or be applying to one of the professional programs.

How to Apply

  1. Review the CHP Scholarship Website: Visit the CHP Scholarship website for essential information that must be included in your application to be considered for CHP funds.

  2. Scholarship Universe: The university-wide scholarship system, Scholarship Universe, will start accepting applications on November 1. Deadlines and application instructions are available within the system.

  3. Additional Documentation: Some nursing scholarships require extra documentation. These requirements can be found on the Essays and Other Required Documents for CHP Scholarships webpage, linked at the bottom of the CHP Scholarship website.

Important Deadlines

  • FAFSA Priority Deadline: December 1
  • FAFSA Final Deadline: April 1 (anticipated)

The Office of Financial Aid uses FAFSA information for need-based funding, renewals, and other opportunities beyond CHP-specific awards. Ensure you submit your FAFSA by the priority deadline to maximize your funding opportunities.

Note for Pre-Nursing Students

Pre-nursing students are not eligible for nursing scholarships but can apply for CHP Continuing Student Scholarships via the CHP Scholarship website.

The Nurse Candidate Program (NCP) is a financial assistance program for students enrolled in a baccalaureate nursing program. Upon completion of degree requirements, the student must accept a commission as a Nurse Corps (NC) officer.
