February 20th, 2025: 12pm-1pm (Via Zoom):
Learn about Poster Presentations with John Bond:
Poster Presentations are essential to academic discourse. Yet, the skills to get started (and succeed) are not intuitive. Once an aspiring researcher and writer starts down the road of giving poster presentations, it can lead to wider dissemination of their work, meeting colleagues to collaborate with, and perhaps the next step: getting published in an academic peer review publication.
John bond has 30 years experience in academic publishing and communication. In his career, he has directed the publishing of over 500 book titles and 20,000 journal articles. He is the author of The Little Guide to Giving a Poster Presentation: Simple Steps to Success (as well as other books in the series). John will be presenting On Giving a Poster Presentation, focusing on the practical steps to getting started.
