About the program

The Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Arts with a concentration in Collaborative Design develops similarly to a traditional academic program. Students pursuing this concentration work closely with their faculty and academic advisor to create a customized course plan, which requires approval from the school director to meet accreditation standards.

The Collaborative Design Core consists of 54 credit hours that align with specific career goals. For example, a student specializing in special effects and VFX in film would select targeted film and animation courses. This approach fosters specialization tailored to the student's aspirations, rather than a generalist curriculum.
