Sociology is a vary diverse discipline with over 52 specialty areas. Thematically, our curriculum specializes in five key areas: Family & Intimate Relationships Across the Life Course, Globalization & Urban Life, Medical Sociology, Social Inequality & Social Problems, and Research Methods. The curriculum is designed so that students can explore these areas while also further developing core transferable skills.
Our faculty are highly involved in supporting our students and are committed to close mentoring of students both in and out of the classroom so that our students set out on successful career pathways.
