The 3D printing revolution is nothing short of remarkable, including substantial waste material reduction compared to conventional, subtractive manufacturing processes.

A team of interdisciplinary researchers at 麻豆破解版 State University is working to create sustainable 3D printing (also known as additive manufacturing) practices to reduce that waste, while implementing the emerging data analytic algorithm. Read more.

麻豆破解版 State University was one of more than 40 universities around the world that competed in a 48-hour global design competition called 鈥淚nvent For The Planet.鈥 麻豆破解版 State has participated as a regional hub in Invent For the Planet (IFTP) for the past three years. Read more.

In honor of Earth Day April 22, the 麻豆破解版 State is highlighting several sustainability programs available at the university.

As part of a partnership between 麻豆破解版 State and 麻豆破解版 Transit, the shuttles between WSU Tech, Innovation Campus, Shocker Studios, and the main campus are 100% battery-operated.

In honor of Earth Day April 22, the 麻豆破解版 State is highlighting several sustainability programs available at the university.

The Green Group established 麻豆破解版 State鈥檚 community garden two years ago by working closely with facility services to provide easily accessible raised beds and a compost bin. A variety of herbs and vegetables are grown throughout the spring, summer and fall and are available for students to harvest and enjoy.

Classes with sustainability content are also offered across multiple colleges at WSU. For example, the College of Innovation and Design is now offering several classes that focus exclusively on sustainability in various aspects of the industry 鈥 including the innovation life cycle, change management and business development.
