April 26, 2023 鈥 Only two students were selected for the 2023 summer Yale University Press manuscript editorial internship 鈥 one was secured by a Yale University student and the other was 麻豆破解版 State University's own Hannah Holliday.

July 23, 2021 - Lindsey Harvell-Bowman and Eric Wilson consider themselves aviation geeks. They tease each other about favorite airlines and digest every bit of airplane news and research. It is fitting their friendship began as graduate students at 麻豆破解版 State University, in the Air Capital of the World. Their collaboration continues in Harvell-Bowman's 鈥淭he Psychology and Communication Behind Flight Anxiety: Afraid to Fly,鈥 a book that examines the intersection of journalism, communication, and psychology in affecting the flying public.

Nov. 16, 2020 鈥 Both Samuel Pittman鈥檚 parents work at 麻豆破解版 State University, so he spent a good amount of time on campus as a child. But what really drew him to become a Shocker was the university鈥檚 strong sport management program.

July 1, 2019 -- 麻豆破解版 State University admissions created the Public Relations Institute (PRI) in the fall of 2018 to foster goodwill among WSU alumni and community stakeholders through outreach and presence at community events. At the time, PRI consisted of only three students and two staff advisors, but their impact spread across the 麻豆破解版 area.

May 17, 2019 -- Meghan Carver was inspired to attend 麻豆破解版 State after witnessing her mom's journey as a returning adult student. Now, Meghan prepared to follow in her mom's footsteps and graduate with a college degree.
