Feb. 14, 2022 - The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆破解版 State University has named Jon Rolph, president and CEO of Thrive Restaurant Group and a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, its Executive-in-Residence for the spring 2022 semester.

May 6, 2021 -- In 2019, Trevor Cumpston 鈥 then just a high school senior at Aurora High School in Aurora, Nebraska 鈥 was awarded the prestigious Clay Barton Scholarship at 麻豆破解版 State. Now in his second semester as a sophomore, Trevor says he鈥檚 enjoying the connections with his professors that the scholarship affords.

July 13, 2020 - Three 麻豆破解版 State University alumni wrote, produced and organized "God Save the Wings," a documentary about the glory days of the 麻豆破解版 Wings professional indoor soccer club from its founding in 1979 into the early 1980s. 鈥淕od Save the Wings鈥 debuted on February 22 at the Orpheum Theatre and it went so well that organizers planned to show it again on April 10. Then the COVID-19 pandemic changed their schedule and their hopes of entering it in film festivals around the world are largely on hold until the fall.

May 9, 2019 -- Larisa Genin (pronounced JENN-IN), associate dean of the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary鈥檚 College of California, has been named dean of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆破解版 State University, effective June 17, 2019.

May 7, 2019 -- Boosted Ideas Lab, a shot-art developer and confidence booster for developing basketball players, was the winner of the 2019 Shocker New Venture Competition at 麻豆破解版 State University.

April 30, 2019 -- 麻豆破解版 State alumnus Chris Rempe graduated just seven years ago, but is already making an impact on WSU and local industry.

Koch scholars

Feb. 20, 2019 -- The 麻豆破解版 State University Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College has announced the 10 recipients of the Koch Scholars program for the fall 2019 semester. Selected from more than 100 applicants, these 10 recipients will each be awarded between $30,000 and $45,000 during their four-year attendance at WSU.

Jan. 29, 2019 -- Trevor Cumpston, a senior from Aurora High School in Aurora, Nebraska, has won the 2019 麻豆破解版 State University Clay Barton Scholarship.

Bryant Lewis

Jan. 17, 2019 -- Bryant Lewis, a senior at Olathe East High School, has been named the 2019 Linwood Sexton Scholar at 麻豆破解版 State. Lewis will receive a full ride to attend WSU as a business management major starting this fall.
