Nov. 8, 2021 -- In just four years since its inception, the Teacher Apprentice Program at 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 College of Applied Studies has had a big impact on school districts and communities across Kansas.

Nov. 4, 2021 - A $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce will help 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) purchase tools and supplies to support Flight Test Research Center and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility at NIAR WERX.

Nov. 1, 2021 - Helped by six grants from Kansas Leadership Center, 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 HEALTH Student Association is working to end the pandemic and support students with information and resources to keep them healthy. HEALTH distributed more than 6,000 free and reusable masks, some with 鈥淪hockers United鈥 branding, some plain black and sequined masks for the inauguration of president Rick Muma. It assembled gift boxes for quarantining students with information on COVID-19 vaccines and testing and gifts such as 麻豆破解版 State water bottles, stickers and lanyards.

Oct. 29, 2021 鈥 Most children love trying on costumes this time of year, but for children with special needs, finding the right costume can be a challenge.

Oct. 4, 2021 鈥 The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders has received a gift to create the Audiology Simulation Lab at 麻豆破解版 State University. The lab contains five state-of-the-art Canadian Audiology simulator for Research and Learning (CARL) manikins and auxiliary equipment.

Sept. 13, 2021 - Student feedback helped guide the design of Frank and Kay Woolsey Hall. They asked for collaboration, and they asked for caffeine. Woolsey Hall, the new home for the W. Frank Barton School of Business, is 30 to 40 percent finished and expected to be complete in late spring 2022 and ready for summer 2022 classes.

Aug. 11, 2021 - People are returning to the 麻豆破解版 State University campus as summer continues and the fall semester approaches. If you鈥檙e a newcomer 鈥 or feel like it鈥檚 been a while 鈥 you鈥檒l notice construction and new businesses on campus.

Aug. 2, 2021 鈥 The marquee exterior fixture of the W. Frank Barton School of Business鈥 new home, Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall, has been officially named the Promise Bridge. The 300-foot-long pedestrian bridge will span a water feature south of the building.

July 9, 2021 - John Wise, 麻豆破解版 State University assistant director of track and field, documents his love of history, travel and frozen soft drinks in 鈥淭ravel With a Wiseguy鈥 on YouTube. He posts a video weekly, many from trips around Kansas to visit small towns, ghost towns and places such as Old Oxford Mill and Little Jerusalem.

June 30, 2021 -- The U.S. Air Force is launching a new program with 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) to make a digital replica of the F-16 Fighting Falcon in an effort to improve the sustainment and modernization of F-16s operating around the world.

June 7, 2021 鈥 Five-year-old Ford Hall has had to overcome more in his short life than most do in a lifetime. That鈥檚 because immediately after he was born, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The doctors informed his mother he would probably never be able to walk. 鈥淚t was that conversation with that doctor that really lit a fire in us,鈥 said Cori Hall, Ford鈥檚 mother.
