Our Purpose for Student Success

We help our students to thrive and to be connected to meaningful opportunities to be successful in their academic endeavors. This is done by collaborating with departments on campus, effectively communicating, maintaining accessible and inclusive services, and building relationships with students in the Barton School of Business. Through the continued development and growth of the Business Student Success Center Staff, we can ensure that our students have access to resources for success by aligning with international standards for service and academic advising. This continued support ensures that we fulfill our promise to students and provide resources that enable our students to be successful and move forward on the path to graduation.

Over the course of a month, our team met to develop a strategic plan that focuses on the growth of the students and staff within the Barton School of Business and Business Student Success Center. Through an abstract approach, we identified our strengths, opportunities, aspirations, and results that we hope to reflect on as we achieve each initiative within our strategic plan over the next three years.

Below is our 2022-2025 Strategic Plan for Student Success.

Our strategic plan has five foci, which aim to improve student success, student engagement, diversity and inclusion, staff leadership, and staff development within the Barton School of Business. The strategic focus areas align with our vision, mission, and core values.  Within each strategic initiative, we aligned our goals with those of 麻豆破解版 State University as outlined in the university's strategic plan, strategic enrollment management plan, and diversity, equity, and inclusion plan. Further, our strategic plan aligns with the BLOOM and the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Appreciation (IDEA) Strategic Plans of the Barton School of Business.
