The Human Simulation and Microanatomy Lab Complex features two state-of-the art cadaver manikins, ultra-high-fidelity synthetic simulation models that are made entirely out of silicone. The full scale models have detailed anatomical structures and clinically accurate anatomical locations to allow students to understand system interactions within a hands-on learning environment. SynDavers are extremely realistic synthetic representation of human anatomy and provide the closest alternative to human cadavers. 

The cardiopulmonary patient simulator presents signs and symptoms of over 50 cardiopulmonary conditions. It realistically simulates nearly any cardiovascular disease at the touch of a button by varying blood pressure, pulses, heart sounds, murmurs, and breath sounds. Students can learn the sounds, presentations, and physical chest wall/displacement of the heart by assessing healthy and disease conditions.

The human simulation lab incorporates state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment that provides students with the opportunity to perform EMG, ECG, pulmonary functions, nerve velocity conduction, and neurological signaling. Using this sophisticated technology, students will perform multiples analyses of their own physiological functioning.

The human simulation lab complex features anatomical components from real human skeletons and synthetic models. The lab includes anatomical representations ranging from skull and inner ear to foot and ankle skeletal structures.

The microanatomy/microscopy lab's 20 microscopy stations feature cutting edge audio and visual technology that displays a wide range of cellular tissue from various anatomical organs and physiological systems.
