About The Program


Food For Fines is an initiative to support the Shocker Support Locker, while providing a cheaper opportunity to pay parking and traffic citations. Please note that donations can only be accepted during the donation period listed on the top page of the screen. Parameters for this initiative include but are not limited to:

  • Any person with a current WSU ID is eligible (ticket must be in the same persons name)
  • A total of six (6) citations/academic year per WSU ID may be forgiven
  • Only tickets $50 and under are eligible for Parking Citations
    • Donate ten (10) items per $0-$30 ticket and donate fifteen(15)  items per $31-$50 ticket
  • Only $45 and $75 tickets will be accepted for Traffic Citations
    • Food for Fines only applies to 麻豆破解版 State University Police Department Traffic Citations and does not apply to District Court Citations. Questions on how to identify which citation you have been issued can be directed to WSUPD.
  • Citations cannot be older than two months
    • The two month window for citations will begin based on the issued date of the ticket.
  • Donations can be made in the Student Government Association office, located in the Rhatigan Student Center in room 219 or the Parking Services Building (one building south of the University Police Department).
  • If an appeal is denied and the student then participates in food for fines the student must pay the $5 appeal fee
    • If your appeal is pending, please do not donate until the next Food for Fines to make sure it has been processed. 

Traffic Citations

Traffic citations will now be accepted as apart of Food for Fines. This can include but is not limited to, 

  • Failure to yeild to pedestrians
  • Failure to signal turn
  • Driving on a sidewalk
  • Running a stop sign
  • Improper U-turn
