Official Statement from SGA Leadership

鶹ƽ, Kansas – The Student Government Association (SGA) is aware of the recent sexual assault that took place on campus. We know that students are upset at the management of the situation and want you to know that those concerns are being heard. Today, SGA leadership met with the University to investigate how this matter was handled. We want to ensure the student body that SGA is not taking this issue lightly and we are doing everything we can to amplify your concerns. We are actively engaging with the University and the Police Department to address safety on our campus.

In the interim, we urge students to utilize campus resources such as Student Health Services, Counseling and Prevention Services, the Student Advocate and the CARE team. You can access all of these resources by visiting wichita.edu/reportit
