Meet Our Team: Corinthian Kelly

Meet a new addition to Team PPMC: Corinthian Kelly! Corinthian is a Program Manager in Community Initiatives and will focus on public and social service programs.

Corinthian has a bachelor’s degree in Public and Urban Affairs with a minor in Leadership Studies from Virginia Tech, along with graduate certificates in City and County Management, Public Finance, and Nonprofit Management from WSU. After obtaining his Master of Public Administration from WSU, Corinthian completed a postgraduate fellowship with the Sedgwick County Manager’s Office.

What excites you most about joining the PPMC?

In addition to joining a phenomenal team, I am so excited to be a part of an organization that helps identify SOLUTIONS!  I am also elated to leverage my natural skills, talents, abilities, and unique perspective to collaborate with community partners for the good of our community.

Who in public service inspires you? (no local or divisive politics here please)

Having worked behind the scenes in local government, I am inspired by the decided staff, administration/management, and elected officials both in the City and Sedgwick County.

Why is public service important to you?

I am a proud Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets graduate. The purpose of the Corps is to develop leaders of exemplary character, imbued with the concepts of selfless service and dedicated to serving the Commonwealth and the nation - in or out of uniform - for a lifetime. I believe in this purpose and try to live by the quote of one of my heroes, Muhammad Ali: “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”

What’s your favorite place to eat in 鶹ƽ?

I have many favorites, but at the top of my list are The Sweet Spot, Ray’s Food Express, and 鶹ƽ Cheesecake Company for dessert.
