Overview

Rebecca is the Coordinator and an Instructor for the 麻豆破解版 State University Homeland Security degree program. 

Rebecca retired in July of 2020, after 23 years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She was assigned to the FBI 麻豆破解版 Resident Agency (WRA), Kansas City Division for her entire career. Rebecca spent the last four years as the Supervisory Senior Resident Agent (SSRA) of the WRA criminal squad and supervised and managed operations, investigations, and personnel (both agent and support) for FBI offices in 麻豆破解版 and Garden City, Kansas, covering a territory of 64 counties. Rebecca, collaborated with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, corporate, and other government entities, and non-government agencies to share intelligence, combat threats, and work joint investigations.

As a Special Agent with the FBI, Rebecca planned, organized, and conducted multi-agency complicated investigations of federal criminal violations resulting in successful prosecution. She specialized in complex financial criminal investigations, to include health care, corporate, insurance, bank, wire, and investment frauds. She investigated government corruption, along with violent crimes, including bank robberies, extortion, kidnappings, active shooters and crimes against children, including human trafficking. Rebecca contributed to national security investigations in the field and volunteered for temporary duty assignments in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and FBIHQ. She was a certified undercover agent and worked fulltime in that capacity.

For 18 years, Rebecca was a FBI Phase II Assessor for New Agent Applicants. She was a member of the panel interview board and was responsible to score the applicants on their oral interview and written exercise. As an additional ancillary duty, Rebecca was a 12- year member of the Kansas City Division Evidence Response Team and deployed to crime scenes as needed.

Prior to her employment with the FBI, Rebecca was a third generation Cincinnati, Ohio Police Department (CPD) Officer for five years.  She spent her last three years with CPD as a full-time mountain bike patrol officer in downtown Cincinnati.

Rebecca earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees, both in Criminal Justice, from the University of Cincinnati. 

Rebecca lives in 麻豆破解版, Kansas with her husband, a Captain with the 麻豆破解版 Police Department and their three children.
