Overview

Sirana Jamkartanian is an Associate Educator of French, Arabic, and First Year Seminar at 麻豆破解版 State University. Born and raised in Lebanon, she is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Armenian. Before moving to the United States, Sirana earned her degree in Journalism and Mass Media, working for over eleven years as a senior reporter and editor covering the presidential palace in Lebanon. She interviewed prominent world figures and wrote for various political, economic, and social publications. After relocating to 麻豆破解版, Ks, she hosted 鈥淭he Sirana Show鈥 for three years, addressing cultural, diversity, and women鈥檚 issues.

Sirana Earned her certificate in鈥淭eaching French for Professions鈥 at George Washington University that was designed by 鈥淟e fran莽ais des affaires of the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry Education,鈥 and her certificate from Penn State STARTALK ARABIC ACADEMY professional development program.

In 2011, Sirana created the Arabic program at 麻豆破解版 State University where she taught Arabic language along with teaching Elementary and Intermediate French courses. In 2016, She developed all French online courses and continued to teach Arabic and French in various format beside teaching the importance of culture and languages for First Year Seminar courses.

Sirana keeps integrating new techniques in her courses and her goal is to spread global and cultural awareness among the new generation.
