Martina graduated from Newman University, where she earned two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees - one majoring in Marketing and one majoring in Management. She loves reading fictional books, singing, and just recently, she discovered a passion for embroidering. Moving to the United States and getting two degrees has been her biggest achievement. Martina wants to change the world by providing more resources to help people. Martina volunteered with the , helping with refugee support, translating immigration documents and mentoring children and their families. She also mentors children through .  

The Widener Global Leaders Program interests Martina because of the interdisciplinary nature of the program. She is excited to learn how seemingly different fields are interconnected in the real world. She is also looking forward to the opportunity to connect with other women. 

Martina’s short-term goal is to work in the marketing field and her long-term goal is to own her own company. Currently, she seeks any type of marketing internship. Graphic design or digital marketing are areas in which she has yet to delve into, but she is willing to learn these areas in preparation for an internship. Martina wants to work for an international company, preferably one with an amazing culture since international business has always been fascinating to her. Some companies that interest her in the 鶹ƽ area include Cargill, Textron and Spirit. Other companies that she is interested in are Zappos, Chick-Fil-A, and Google.
