Our Presentation Formats
We can create a custom presentation for your group, but to give you an idea of what we normally provide, here are some examples:
Cap Member can do presentation base on one specific culture, country, or topic that interested to your students.
Every semester, our CAP members are invited to speak at World Cultures in The Popular Media class at WSU. They enjoy the time of sharing their own culture with other students in this way.
If your department or groups feels like it could use some training from actual international students on how to best connect with and serve the international student population at 麻豆破解版 State University, please reply to this email so that we can set something up!
Food, music, and dance are the easiest way to know a culture.
We have a video series called International Food Network. CAP member introduces American food culture to international students. CAP also tried food from different countries and encourage our audiences to try it too.
Our CAP member - Peach did a cooking demonstration of Thai Basil Chicken during international education week!
Do you want some input on your topic from a different perspective? Maybe a perspective from a different culture, or form a certain cultural background as you desired.
- CAP members service on WSU Dining Service Advisory Committee Monthly to provide their perspective.
- CAP members also participated on International Politics & Social Justice Discussion Pane for Housing Living Learning Community (LLC).
Teach your students how to say "Hello" or "Thank you" in Chinese, French, Spanish,
Tai or more. It can be fun and educational.
