Request for Remote Work
Remote work requests may be approved where: 1) the university can reasonably support such a request, 2) the arrangement is approved by the employee and the appropriate university leader(s), and 3) the remote work does not pose a risk to the employee or the university. Employees and/or leaders who are interested in exploring a remote work arrangement should consult their Human Resource Business Partner and the university鈥檚 Remote Work Guidance.
Employees are required to complete a Remote Work Request Form when:
- The Remote Work will be 鈥淩egular鈥漚nd will be performed at an Alternate Work Location outside of the state of Kansas; or
- The Remote Work will be performed internationally; or
- The Employee is on an H1B/VISA and the Alternate Work Location is different than the Assigned Work Site approved on the H1B/VISA application.
