What have you learned from being a buddy?
The biggest thing I've learned from being a buddy is that spending time with one another is the easiest way to help international students feel welcome and included. But I've also learned that (for students from a coastal region) 麻豆破解版 doesn't have nearly enough restaurants that serve good sea food, that the amber waves of fields can be just as pretty as the ocean, and that the biggest way to reconcile the differences between my buddy's home and mine is to reminisce.

Major: Accounting and Finance-Real Estate
Buddy: Ana from Spain
What has been the best experience you've had so far?
The best experience I've had so far was when we all went to Cowtown. My buddy and I went to the printing press and printed our own "tickets." It was a wonderful time that I'm glad we made the last minute decision to go back and experience.
Why did you sign up to be a buddy?
I studied abroad in Spring 2024 and the school I went to didn't have a program like this. I wanted to help incoming international students have a local friend and be the person I wish I had while I was 5,000 miles away from home.
