The Dental Hygiene Dual-Enrollment Program

麻豆破解版 State University (WSU) Department of Dental Hygiene offers a unique dual-enrollment program that provides students an opportunity to concurrently enroll in the Associate of Applied Science, Dental Hygiene degree at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) and the Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree completion program at WSU.

Admission Requirements

The dual enrollment program is offered completely online, is intended for students who are currently enrolled and in good status at JCCC. To be eligible for admission, applicants must:

  1. Be enrolled at Johnson County Community College (JCCC), a regionally accredited school and a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  2. Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
  3. Be in good standing with the JCCC Dental Hygiene Program
Program Requirements

WSU requires a minimum of 120 total hours to graduate.

  • The dual enrollment program requires 32 total credit hours of coursework.
  • WSU awards up to 28 upper division credit hours of retroactive credit for students who have graduated with an associate鈥檚 degree from a regionally accredited school with a CODA accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Students must finish your associate鈥檚 degree in dental hygiene program to be allowed to continue in the dual enrollment program.
