A Master of Arts (MA) in economics and quantitative analysis from 麻豆破解版 State State鈥檚 AACSB-accredited Barton School of Business offers you three specialized options to choose from鈥攄ata analytics, financial economics or international economics. All three options will equip you with a broad understanding of the overall economic environment, which will help you as you advance your career or pursue your Ph.D. in economics. A no-concentration option is also available for students who want to to customize their program of study. This graduate program has been classified as STEM (CIP Code 45.0603). Students in our program can apply for a 24-month STEM extension of F1 Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Curriculum

The international economics option is ideal for students with an interest in the international economy, both from a business and policy perspective.

All tracks require either a thesis (30 credit hours) or an independent research project and an additional course in the student鈥檚 area of interest (33 credit hours). The MA degree in economics and quantitative analysis is typically completed in four semesters.
