Volunteers needed for GPHC, register to attend by Mar. 1

Volunteer:

Approximately 45 student volunteers are needed for the Great Plains Honors Council conference hosted this year by 麻豆破解版 State and Hutchinson Community College Mar. 20-21.  as soon as possible to help us move forward with planning! The student council is hosting student socials in downtown 麻豆破解版 Friday and Saturday evening. If you鈥檇 like to attend or help with these, contact Lucy Cook.

You are invited to register online for the Great Plains Honors Council conference by March 1st using the conference code 20WSUGPHC . We鈥檇 love to show your attendance in our registration numbers, and this is particularly important if you would like to be included in any of the meals. Honors hires Applied Learning Graduate Assistant

portraitThe Cohen Honors College is excited to announce that Mariem Berrada has joined us as our Applied Learning Graduate Assistant. Mariem will be working closely with the Office of Applied Learning to cultivate internships and cooperative education opportunities for Cohen Honors students.

Not only will Mariem help students with the internship process at the university but she will also work one on one with you to interface with the community to find those opportunities for you.

She will be available for appointments in both the Cohen Honors College and the John Bardo Center.

Cohen Enhancement Scholarship deadline Mar. 15th  

The Cohen Honors College supports Honors students to expand their horizon or give back to their community - thanks to a generous scholarship fund established by Dorothy and Bill Cohen. 

 of up to $4000 fund 20-25 students each year to engage in activities such as study abroadNational Student Exchange, unpaid internships in nonprofits or the public sector, national conferences, undergraduate research or service learning.  

The final deadline to apply for funding this academic year or for summer study is March 15th. .

All WSU students, faculty, and staff welcome to attend the Mikrokosmos Release Party today

Mikrokosmos, 麻豆破解版 State's literary journal, is hosting its annual release party at 5:30 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 28) at the McKnight Center Atrium. The event will be the debut of Mikrokosmos 66, a journal that features poetry, fiction, and artwork from 麻豆破解版 State's faculty and students. There will be free food and drink, and readings from our featured artists. An open mic will follow, so all are welcome to come and share some of their own creative work.

All students receive a free copy of Mikrokosmos, so stop by and pick up your free copy!

 

 

Student Money Management free taxes 2020

File your taxes for free today

The Office for Student Money Management encourages all students, faculty, and staff to file their taxes as soon as possible before the April 15 deadline. We currently partner with the United Way to offer a free online tax program at  through H&R Block.

Our staff is fully trained to help guide you through the process of doing taxes on your own. Please take this opportunity and see us today. We are open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and take appointments as well as walk-ins. All schedule changes will be posted on our Twitter @WSU_OSMM.
