Honors Option Agreement  Deadline Extension

Unfamiliar with the Honors Option Agreement Form? It allows you to modify a non-Honors course into an Honors course! You will work with your instructor to design the Honors criteria. If you have any questions, email jessica.raburn@wichita.edu.

Coffee & Convo with Dr. MarchFleming-Randle

Dr. Marche Fleming-Randle is 麻豆破解版 State University's Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer, and Chair of the Presidents Diversity Council. This open forum on Thursday, February 25, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. will address factual and relevant issues that deal with current events in America, WSU, and the 麻豆破解版 community. Attendees are encouraged to join with an open mind and the ability to listen to opinions of diverse backgrounds. to register for this virtual event.


Virtual Women Faculty Forum

All women faculty and their allies are invited to an open forum with Interim President Rick Muma and Interim Provost Shirley Lefever on Thursday, February 25, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. This forum is an opportunity to discuss issues, challenges, and questions of particular importance to women faculty on campus. The event is coordinated by the NSF Advance Team, whose members will share their work during the event. for the Zoom link.


Tilford Talks: Relationship Between Equitable Policing and Equitable Education

Mr. Riccardo Harris and Dr. Kevin Harrison will host a discussion on Friday, February 26, from 1 - 3 p.m. about how some groups feel threatened and even traumatized by law enforcement. How can institutions and law enforcement work together to lessen these disparities? How are these disparities impacting the process of educating students of color? What role does research play changing the narrative so that students of color are empowered by institutions of higher learning rather than subjugated?  to register for this virtual event.


Apply for the Honors Student Fee Scholarship

The Honors Student Council has instituted a scholarship fund to alleviate any financial burden placed on students by the Honors Student Fee.

The application contains a 250 word essay. Applications are evaluated by the Student Council. If selected, this scholarship will cover half of the applicant's $50 Honors Student Fee for the Spring 2021 semester. Preference will be given to applicants who do not receive the Honors Merit Scholarship. Applicants will need to reapply every semester.

Submit Your Work for The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Forum!

Students are invited to submit research and creative work for the virtual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum. Abstract submissions are due Friday, March 19, and video submissions are due Friday, April 2.

First place winners will receive $250 and second place winners will receive $100. Additionally, the  for demonstrating research skills that utilize the Libraries' resources, including collections, services, equipment, and facilities.


Judges Needed for The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Forum

Faculty and staff are invited to serve as judges for this year鈥檚 virtual URCAF. You will judge at the comfort of your computer! Judging will take place on Friday, April 9, from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. but may open a few days earlier if all submissions have been uploaded.
