WSU Disaster Resilience Analytics Center Virtual Seminar Today

Dr. Alison Specht, an Ecosystem Research Analyst, will address building collaboration and teamwork in complex, transdisciplinary research projects. The seminar will be today from 12 - 1 p.m. for the Zoom link.


Senior Honors Application Due Monday

The Senior Honor is one of the most prestigious honors a 麻豆破解版 State University student can receive. Each year, only ten students are selected to receive the Senior Honor. This highly competitive honor is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding scholarship, leadership, involvement at WSU, and service to WSU and the surrounding community.

SGA & President's Town Hall on Tuesday

The Student Government Association (SGA) wants to hear from YOU! Attend the SGA and President's Town Hall to converse with President Rick Muma, Interim Provost Shirley Lefever, SGA President Rija Khan, and SGA Vice President Kamilah Gumbs. It will take place on February 22nd at 2 p.m. in RSC 233.


WHEAT Biweekly Meetings

Join the 麻豆破解版 Honors Events & Activities Team (WHEAT) every other Thursday from 6 - 7 p.m. in the Honors College Seminar Room to plan events for the Honors community! WHEAT Social Next Friday

Join WHEAT on February 25th from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Honors College for their social! Help them kick off events for the semester with food, crafts, and games!


Honors Student Fee Scholarship

The Honors College Student Council has instituted a scholarship fund to alleviate any financial burden placed on students by the Honors student fee. The application contains a 250 word essay. Applications are evaluated by the Student Council. If selected, this scholarship will cover half of the applicant's $50 Honors student fee for the Spring 2022 semester. Preference will be given to applicants who do not receive the Honors Merit Scholarship. Applicants will need to reapply every semester.

Kudos! Honors Alum Tracia Banuelos Published in the Journal of Black Sexuality and Relationships

Congratulations to Honors alum Tracia Banuelos for her recent article 鈥淐ontextualizing Familial Relationships Between Queer Elders of Color鈥 published in the Journal of Black Sexuality and Relationships. Tracia graduated from 麻豆破解版 State in 2018 with degrees in psychology and women鈥檚 studies and an Emory Lindquist Honors Scholar track. Currently pursuing a master of science in social research at Hunter College of the City University of New York, Tracia lives and works toward a better world in New York City.
