Dr. Ronald G. Iacovetta is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice in the School of Community Affairs at 麻豆破解版 State University. Dr. Iacovetta earned his B.A. (1965) and M.A. (1967) from Colorado State University and the Ph.D. in Sociology with specialization in Social Organizations and Deviant Behavior (1972) from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Iacovetta has published in the areas of delinquency and youth, corrections, organized crime and broader criminal justice issues. He has authored a book on Critical Issues in Criminal Justice and has written articles and book chapters on the sujects of crime and Corrections. At WSU Dr. Iacovetta has served for 6 years as Chair of the Department of Administration of Justice, 3 years as Assistant Dean of the Graduate School, and 2 years as Associate Director of the Hugo Wall School of Urban and Public Affairs. In addition Dr. Iacovetta has served on the University Senate and other University Committees to include the Graduate Counsel, University Academic Planning Committee, University and College Scholarship Committees, University Serice Committee, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Appeals and Exceptions Committee.

Primary research and professional interests include Corrections, Terrorism, Organized and White Collar Crime and the impact of the spread of Casino gambling in America. Dr. Iacovetta has a professional interest in arbitration and mediation at the State and National Level. Dr. Iacovetta has worked as a State Fact-Finder for Impasse Resolution in the State of Kansas for more than 20 years and is listed with the FMCS (Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service in Washington D.C.) under whose jurisdiction he has handled corrections, police and fire cases at the state and federal level.
