Annual Appointment Notices will now be online, no longer printed
Effective with the 2020 Fiscal and Academic Year, annual Appointment Notices will be available online and will no longer be printed and distributed to departments.
Please note that University Support Staff (USS) and Non-Benefit Eligible employees (Students, Lecturers and Temporary employees) are not subject to the annual Appointment Notice process. Athletics employees will receive Appointment Notices through a separate process later in July.
Therefore, Unclassified Professionals (UP) and Faculty can view, electronically acknowledge and print their 2020 Appointment Notice through :
- MyWSU (Chrome is the preferred browser)
- Faculty/Staff tab
- Human Resources Links
- Notice of Appointment (you may need to clear the browser cache to see the new link)
2020 Appointment Notices will be available to view, electronically acknowledge, print and revisit through Aug. 31, 2019. Because of the sensitive nature of this data, always close the browser to protect privacy.
Please contact the Help Desk at 978-4357 for assistance logging into MyWSU.

Time at WSU helped student build successful business
In 2017, Eddie Sandoval's business, Pinole Blue, won the Shocker New Venture Competition,
receiving $10,000 to get his company off the ground. Now the business finance alum

WSU research will help reduce weight, cost of high-speed missiles
National Institute for Aviation Research has partnered with the U.S. Department of Defense, receiving a three-year, $33 million contract from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center for a project focused on emerging materials for high-speed missile applications.

Volleyball Dinner and Auction set for Aug. 24
鶹ƽ State University volleyball will host its 11th annual Volleyball Dinner and
Auction presented by Rotek Services on Saturday, Aug. 24.
The dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Aetna Multi-Purpose Facility in Charles
Koch Arena.
Individual tickets are $40 and may be purchased by contacting the WSU ticket office at 978-FANS (3267).
Students invited to enter essay competition for NASA Celebration Conference
Faculty and staff, please let your students know: 鶹ƽ State and the 鶹ƽ Space Initiative are hosting a symposium and student competitions celebrating the scientific legacy of NASA and the Apollo program. The event is free and open to the public, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 19. It will feature three sessions of talks, a keynote lecture, as well as competitions open to Kansas middle school, high school and college students.
WSU students are welcome to enter the essay competition, which will feature prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250, with the winning essay included in the conference program. Go to the for more information.

Pumpkin Run registration is now open
Join runners and walkers at 9 a.m. Oct. 19, for a fun journey through one of the prettiest
campuses in Kansas. As a participant of the USATF-Certified Pumpkin Run 5K, you will
receive a customized T-shirt, post-race snacks and an opportunity to mingle and chat
with fellow runners and local vendors in the Runner Village. The 4th annual 1K Little
Pumpkin Fun Run for ages 0-12 will start at 10:20 a.m. All little runners will receive
a participation gift and T-shirt. We look forward to seeing you on the course.
