Overnight, the migration of wichita.edu into a new design and new content management system occurred. The site is not in its final form, as the complexity of this migration means we'll have considerable optimization work to accomplish today. The collaborative team from Strategic Communications, Media Resources Center and Information Technology Services will be working to clean up glitches and errors through the day, and you should expect interruptions of service, missing pages and elements and strange displays on and off during that process.
Former Department Tools users who have been trained in OU Campus, our new content management system should begin to execute their design and optimization plans. Just be aware that the display issues will also extend to the previews and editor windows inside the CMS.
It will be a hectic day today, but we're excited to bring a beautiful new website to wichita.edu!
