麻豆破解版 State awards education scholarships to five high schoolers

Five high school seniors were named Doris and Ralph Klose Scholars as part of the Klose Scholars Day at 麻豆破解版 State University.

The Klose Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a degree in math or science education in 麻豆破解版 State鈥檚 College of Applied Studies. Students receive a tuition, fees and book stipend scholarship, estimated at $19,000, once they are admitted into the Teacher Education program at the beginning of their junior year at WSU.

This year鈥檚 recipients of the Doris and Ralph Klose Scholarship are:

Eight high school seniors from Kansas and Texas competed for the Klose Scholarship. Klose Scholars Day provided students with the opportunity to interview with College of Applied Studies faculty and current Klose Scholars, present a mini-lesson and participate in a group activity. Students also submitted an application that included two essays.
