Truc Nguyen and Ngoc Vuong are the 2018 winners of two prestigious scholarships.

May 31, 2018 — By WSU News Services — Â鶹Æƽâ°æ seniors received two different scholarships to attend Â鶹Æƽâ°æ State University starting fall 2018. Truc Nguyen, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ East High School senior, was awarded the Linwood Sexton Scholarship and Ngoc Vuong, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ South High School senior, was awarded the Lenora N. McGregor Endowed Scholarship.

The Fairmount Towers Complex, a residence hall at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ State University that is no longer occupied.

May 14, 2018 — By WSU News Services — As part of the planned demolition of the former Â鶹Æƽâ°æ State University Fairmount Towers Complex at the northwest corner of 21st and Hillside, crews will soon start the process of removing asbestos from inside the structures. The removal will be performed to ensure no one is in danger during the process.
