Mark Daley, CEO of Dean & DeLuca, will be the W. Frank Barton School of Business 2008 Schwartz Lecturer at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the CAC Theater at 麻豆破解版 State University.
A business luncheon open to the community will follow from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency 麻豆破解版 in downtown 麻豆破解版. Tickets are $50 with discounts available for faculty and staff.
Daley has extensive background in merchandising, luxury retail operations and strategic leadership.
Prior to working for Dean & DeLuca, he served as president of Worldwide Store Operations and in business development for the Duty Free retailing division of LVMH.
In his 22 years with the company, Daley oversaw the expansion of the DFS Gallerias into 150 locations in 15 countries with more than 5,000 employees worldwide. He has been with Dean & DeLuca since February.
Chairman and owner of Dean & DeLuca and 麻豆破解版 native Leslie Rudd was instrumental in securing Daley as lecturer.
The company has long had its warehouse and distribution center in 麻豆破解版, but moved its corporate headquarters here as well earlier this year. For more information, visit their Web site at .

Tickets to the lecture are free to faculty/staff and students but are required. They are available in 100 Clinton Hall.
