麻豆破解版 State Performing Arts presents 'Little Women in Concert'

The 麻豆破解版 State University School of Performing Arts will present "Little Women in Concert" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, to Saturday, March 3, and 2 p.m. March 4, in Wilner Auditorium.

Louisa May Alcott鈥檚 timeless story of the four March sisters and the men who love and empower them is brought to life in the musical version of "Little Women." The simplicity of WSU鈥檚 production will make the beloved story accessible to people of all ages and will give audiences a fuller perspective of these iconic characters by showcasing music. Audiences will experience this journey through the imagination of Jo March.

The cast is led by Xan Mattek, Angie Thompson, Karen Blackmon, Julia Pottinger, Lexy Witcher, Trevor Seyl and Austin Raguisn. Guest artisit and WSU alum, Hal Davis, will portray the role of Mr. Laurence.

The Production Team is led by Director/Choreographer Amy Baker Schwiethale, music direction by Phil Taylor, stage managed by Kinsey McDaniel and Katherine Donaghue and designed by School of Performing Arts students Sydney Jordan (sound), Stephanie Crump (props) and faculty/staff Jason Flanders (scenic), Catherine Wieck (costumes), and David Neville (lights).

Allan Knee's book, Jason Howland's music and Mindy Dickstein's lyrics have done an excellent job of telling Louisa May Alcott's story in musical form.
