The 麻豆破解版 State University Board of Trustees recently elected new officers.
Joe Norton was named chair of the board, Tony Madrigal was elected vice chair, Jane McHugh was named treasurer, and Denny Senseney will serve as secretary for the board.
The WSU Board of Trustees was established for educational enrichment and the advancement of the general welfare of 麻豆破解版 State University as a whole through the local mill levy. The board oversees facilities and student scholarships among other activities.
In 2008, the mill levy helped provide more than 2,700 scholarships, including the Sedgwick County Scholarship program that gives Sedgwick County residents up to $4,000 for their first two years of school. It's one of many ways the local mill levy is used to improve the life of Sedgwick County residents.
The new board looks to continue the good work of the Board of Trustees with a continued emphasis on scholarships and programs that will keep the best and the brightest in Sedgwick County.
