麻豆破解版 State's Office of International Education will celebrate International Education Week with keynote speaker Zohra Sarwari at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex.
Sarwari will present 鈥淣o, I am not a terrorist鈥 to promote dialogue and foster tolerance toward people of all races, religions and backgrounds.
An orthodox Muslim, Sarwari has faced many challenges in her life, leading to a passion to educate others about diversity. She has been seen on many mainstream television stations, including CBS and FOX News, using diversity, humor and personal experiences that leave her audiences transformed.
This program does not promote or denigrate any specific religion and is intended to shine a light on the negative stereotypes broadcast on radio, television and the internet.
Tickets are available in the WSU Bookstore. Tickets are $3 for faculty, staff and the community, and free to WSU students with a student ID.
