First round of Kansas City Alumni Scholarships awarded to four students headed to WSU

Four students became the first recipients of the new Kansas City Alumni Scholarship, created by 麻豆破解版 State graduates from the metro area who want to help Kansas City-area students attend WSU. Pictured above is Bailey Olen, who was a student at Shawnee Mission West. She plans to major in accounting at WSU. Her award was presented by three WSU alumni who live in Shawnee Mission: Kim and Jim Gillespie and Dick Luman.

About 1,000 students from the Kansas City area are enrolled at 麻豆破解版 State. The WSU Admissions office has a satellite branch in KC to boost that number.
