* The 2018 WSU Summer Symphony Orchestra will collaborate with John Harrison, concertmaster of the 麻豆破解版 Symphony Orchestra, on two miniature masterpieces for violin and orchestra. The summer orchestra consists of seasoned amateurs, area educators, university performers and advanced high school musicians. Join us at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, June 28) in Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at https://wsu.news/faboxoffice
* Space is available in an Employment Relationship Training class from 3-4:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, June 29) in 264 RSC. To register for training, go to myTraining through myWSU. This course is provided for leaders who supervise employees (UP, USS, students), and will focus on the overall employment relationship. If you have questions, contact mytraining@wichita.edu.
* George Ferrandi will present a lecture on the science behind JUMP!STAR from noon-1 p.m. today (Thursday, June 28) in 120 Henrion Hall. A light lunch will be provided. Read more about the project at http://www.jumpstar.love
* Shiftspace will be open from 6-10 p.m. this Final Friday, June 29, for the opening reception of "From the Terrible." Shiftspace is a gallery operated by the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries located in the Commerce Street Arts District, 419 S. Commerce St. Suite 120.
* The University Bookstore is closed for year-end inventory today (Thursday, June 28) through 5 p.m. Friday, June 29. The bookstore will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30. They will be unable to process web orders during this closure also.
* KMUW is offering free year-at-a-glance calendar stickers for the 2018-19 academic year to WSU staff and faculty. To request a calendar sticker for yourself or several to share with your department, please call 978-6789 or send an email to info@kmuw.org and include the amount of calendars you'd like, along with your campus box number. The stickers will be sent by the end of June.
