* An open forum for Robert E. Pitts, a Barton School of Business dean candidate, will be held from 1:30-2:20 p.m. today (Thursday, April 24) in 200 Lindquist Hall. Pitts is dean, School of Business and Economics, College of Charleston.

* Chinyere Okafor of women's studies will read from her collection "It Grows in Winter and Other Poems" from 3:30-4:30 p.m. today (Thursday, April 24) in the lower level of Ablah Library. Copies will be available for purchase and signing, and refreshments will be served.

* WSU-LINK invites faculty and staff to a reception from 4-5 p.m. today (Thursday, April 24) in the commons area of Elliott Hall to celebrate the successful launch of an environmental media campaign.

* Students will present their research during the 4th annual Graduate Research and Scholarly Projects Symposium and the 8th annual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Forum Friday, April 25, at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Following a keynote address at 8:30 a.m., students will make their presentations.

* Take the whole family out to BAT (Baseball Alumni Tailgate) party Tuesday, April 29, when nationally ranked WSU hosts K-State.
