Veteran students to be honored at special WSU graduation recognition ceremony

麻豆破解版 State University will honor its veteran students by holding a special graduation recognition ceremony from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the Rhatigan Student Center, Room 233.

Media are welcome to attend the ceremony.

This will be the first time WSU has held a separate graduation recognition for veteran students. Larry Burks, director of Military and Veteran Services, says he looks forward to starting a new tradition for student veterans.

鈥淭his will be an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of our student veteran leaders and those who have made a contribution to the university and the organization,鈥 Burks says.

There will also be a university-wide graduation ceremony starting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, for all students completing their degrees this semester.
